Update: Sadly, Evelyn passed away on February of 2005 after battling 6 years of the disease.

Evelyn Ong found out that she had leukemia during a routine blood test in 1999. Daily medications has allowed her to live a normal life, but they are no longer effective. Evelyn now must continue her search for a suitable marrow/ stem cell donor. She has 6 siblings, but none are matches.

Evelyn is 58 years old. She likes to travel, spend time with her 6 grandchildren, and reunite with high school friends.
