Update: Hong found a match and underwent his transplant the Fall, but sadly passed away from liver complications in january 2005.

Hong-Siu Loc was diagnosed when he was just 20 years ago, attending his 4th year at St. John's University school for pharmacy. A severe headache lead him to the Emergency room, where blood tests later revealed leukemia in his body. Hong-Siu is now receiving treatment at the Cornell Weil Presbyterian Hospital while waiting for a match to come through. His 3 siblings were tested but did not match his marrow type.
